We Are Hiring: Product Developer – Plant-Based Food

We are looking for a Product Developer with a passion for plant-based innovation. In this role, you will join a dedicated team working to develop and scale up high-quality food products that meet modern consumer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in culinary arts and food science, with a keen understanding of market trends and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine plant-based products with strong sensory and culinary performance
• Apply food science principles to ensure product quality, stability, texture, and taste
• Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer needs, and development opportunities
• Ensure compliance with food regulations and labelling requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sourcing, production, marketing, and sales
• Conduct sensory evaluations, shelf-life testing, and cost analysis
• Document and follow up on all steps in the product development process
• Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements, bringing creative ideas to the product development process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in plant-based product development
• Strong understanding of ingredient functionality, emulsification, and food chemistry
• Experience with food safety regulations and quality assurance
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Proficient in both written and spoken - Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with plant-based drinks, cooking products and or nutritional products
• Skills in sensory evaluation methodologies
