You will work in Fazer’s centralized master data management team, which is responsible for providing master data management maintenance services for the Fazer Group in accordance with the agreed service scope, and which also plays a strong role in developing data governance processes and tools.
We are looking for two experienced professionals to join our team – one with a focus on service management and project leadership, and the other with a focus on the development of master data management tools.
Manager, Master Data Services
In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the master data management service and be accountable for operational service management, the day-to-day leadership, monitoring and support of the team, as well as service reporting to stakeholders.
You will act as a project manager in transitions of data maintenance to the centralized MDM team and in other data development projects. You are responsible for project progress, schedules and stakeholder collaboration in a multi-channel environment often involving overlapping projects, where the ability to prioritize and deliver results is essential.
Senior Specialist, Master Data Tools
You are responsible for master data management tools and their development using modern technologies (including AI). You will act as a key user for data management tools and be responsible for the automation of data governance processes. You will contribute to improving master data quality together with the business and participate in developing data governance processes.
In both roles, you consistently strive to achieve the best possible outcomes and to ensure that master data quality remains high in order to support smooth business processes. You identify improvement opportunities and turn ideas into practice while supporting strategic objectives and projects. In both roles, you also work as part of the MDM service team and are responsible for handling requests within your area.
Your key stakeholders include business data users, data owners, SAP key users, ICT service specialists and external vendors. You work as part of the ICT organization and report to the Senior Data Development Manager.
The position is permanent and located in Vantaa at “Fazerila,” where we primarily work in an on-site model and meet colleagues weekly. Willingness to travel is required, mainly to Lahti and Lappeenranta.

The base salary for the roles are:
• Manager position: 5,400 - 6,000 €/month
• Senior Specialist position: 4,500 - 5,200 €/month
depending on the selected candidate’s expertise and previous work experience. These roles are eligible for annual bonus plan (as confirmed each year separately by Fazer) with a target level earning potential of 10 % of annual salary.

Your competence is based on a technical or commercial education. Your background may include working as an SAP key user preferably S/4 Hana or in data governance roles, or in data/system development positions. Both roles require strong written and spoken English skills. For the Manager role, fluency in Finnish is mandatory.
