Manager, Project Procurement & Contract Management  

We are looking for a motivated and passionate procurement professional to contribute to the modernization of chocolate production in Finland.

In this role, you will support and contribute to guiding procurement activities for a major industrial investment project. You will work closely with the Fazer FC2030 Project Procurement team to develop contract management tactics and manage key technological packages with significant scope and complexity. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in project procurement while supporting a significant modernization project.

 You will be responsible for:

• Tracking contract obligations, including schedules, deliverables, reports and payment milestones.
• Supporting Project Managers in evaluating and documenting variations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Preparing and maintaining formal contract variation documentation, such as change logs, variation orders, amendments and impact assessments.
• Producing and updating status reports, registers and summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Identifying and proactively escalating deviations or potential risks.

You will be a part of the Project FC2030 Procurement team and work very closely with all project stakeholders. You will also be a member of the Fazer’s procurement community. Following the completion of the project procurement responsibilities, you will transition into a permanent role within Fazer’s group procurement.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Project Contracting FC2030 for the duration of the Project. This permanent position will be located in Vaarala, Vantaa, where we mainly work onsite.

The role in question is a salaried position under the collective agreement for salaried employees in the food industry. The base salary of this position is between 4700 € - 5200 € / month depending on the knowledge and professional experience of the selected candidate. 

This role is eligible for annual bonus plan (as confirmed each year separately by Fazer) with a target level earning potential of 10 % of annual salary.  In addition, we offer a range of benefits including for example discounts to Fazer products and well-being benefits such as ePassi.

What you’ll bring to the team?

We expect you to have a Master’s degree in Economics, Technology or another relevant field, along with 2–5 years of experience in procurement and contract management, preferably within investment projects.

You have a proactive and structured way of working, and you are comfortable contributing to projects even in situations of uncertainty. You are eager to further develop your project and change management competencies and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across the organization.

You communicate clearly, collaborate well with others, and are motivated to learn and apply best practices. Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to build networks are important for success in this role. You communicate and negotiate effectively in English. Skills in Finnish, Swedish and/or German are considered an asset.
